On-Device Closet Storage
Your wardrobe photos and closet database are stored exclusively in app-private sandboxed storage on your physical device. Zero automatic OS cloud sync or photo leaks.
Strict AI Ephemerality
AI look evaluations (via Google Gemini & Supabase) process images strictly in-memory during styling requests. Photos are never used to train public foundation models or sold to third parties.

1.Introduction & Privacy Philosophy
Welcome to Outfique, a personal AI fashion stylist and smart wardrobe management application built and published by RivalHive ("we", "our", "us"). We are committed to safeguarding your personal privacy through an intentional Privacy-First Architecture.
This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, processed, stored, and protected when you use:
- The Outfique Mobile Application (available for Android on Google Play and iOS on Apple App Store)
- The Outfique Website (https://theoutfique.netlify.app and associated web properties)
- Our associated AI styling engines, wardrobe cataloging, and customer support services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using Outfique, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
A. Data You Provide Directly
- Wardrobe & Outfit Photos: Images of your clothing garments, shoes, accessories, or full-body outfits that you snap with your camera or import from your photo library.
- Style Preferences & Prompts: Style aesthetics (Casual, Formal, Minimalist, Streetwear, Festive), occasion details, fit preferences, color palette selections, and conversational text queries entered into Outfi AI.
- User Profile Data (Optional): Name, email address, username, regional audience preferences, and onboarding setup flags.
- Saved Outfits & Capsules: Created lookbooks, planned outfit schedules, travel packing lists, and wishlist items.
B. Automatically Collected Information
- Technical & Device Data: Hardware model, OS version, screen resolution, app version, unique device tokens, and anonymized crash telemetry.
- Approximate Location Data (Optional): If granted, coarse/city-level location is accessed solely to retrieve live weather forecasts (temperature, precipitation, season) for climate-smart outfit advice. We never track continuous GPS location.
- Usage & Analytics Data: App launch frequency, feature interaction metrics (e.g., Look Checker, Trial Check, Style Finder), and ad performance metrics.
3.Storage Architecture: On-Device & Cloud Processing
Your wardrobe photos and digital closet inventory reside inside sandboxed, app-private storage on your physical device. Wardrobe images are explicitly excluded from standard OS cloud backups and device migration syncs. You can independently export your full wardrobe archive at any time as an encrypted ZIP file via the in-app "Wardrobe Backup & Restore" utility.
When you initiate AI features (such as Check My Look, Which One Should I Buy, Style Finder, or Smart Travel Packing), selected image frames and text prompts are transmitted securely via TLS 1.3 encrypted HTTPS to our backend infrastructure (Supabase Edge Functions) and evaluated by multimodal AI (Google Gemini API).
✓ Strict Purpose Limitation: Uploaded image data is processed ephemerally solely to return your styling advice and is NEVER used to train foundational AI models or sold to third-party data brokers.

5.Device Permissions & How We Use Them
- Camera (`android.permission.CAMERA` / iOS Camera): Required only when capturing photos of garments or looks directly inside the app.
- Photo Library / Storage (`READ_MEDIA_IMAGES` / Photo Picker): Used only when you choose existing photos from your gallery to catalog into your closet.
- Location (Optional - `ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION`): Used solely to fetch local weather conditions for outfit recommendations.
- Notifications (`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`): Delivers optional morning style inspiration, weather alerts, and planned outfit reminders. Can be disabled anytime in system settings.
6.Advertising & Consent Management (Google UMP)
Free-tier users see non-intrusive ads served via Google AdMob. We deploy Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect explicit user consent for personalized/non-personalized advertising under GDPR (EU/EEA/UK) and US State Privacy Laws (e.g., CCPA/CPRA).
You can review, modify, or revoke your ad choices anytime in the app under Settings > Privacy & Ad Choices. Upgrading to Outfique Pro removes all advertisements entirely.
7.In-App Purchases & Payment Data
Zero Financial Data Storage: Outfique does not collect, store, or process credit card numbers, debit cards, UPI PINs, or bank account credentials. All billing transactions are managed exclusively and securely by Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchases.
8.Data Retention, Deletion & Your Rights
Under applicable privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to access, export, modify, or permanently delete your stored data by using the in-app data tools or contacting rivalhive26@gmail.com.
9-12.Security, Children's Privacy & Contact
Children's Privacy: Outfique is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EU).
Security: All network communication is safeguarded with TLS 1.3 encryption and local sandboxing.
